Festival Dia del Nino "Explora y Aprende"
The Festival del Dia del Nino returns for its third annual celebration in the heart of Santa Rosa Downtown Square, bringing together families from Sonoma, Napa, Marin, and surrounding counties for a vibrant day honoring childhood, culture, and community.
This free, family-friendly event is dedicated to recognizing the joy, creativity, and potential of children while providing an engaging space for cultural expression, education, and entertainment. Families can expect a day packed with music, dance, interactive activities, and exciting giveaways.
Toy Giveaway:
Thanks to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), children will receive free toys on a first-come, first-served basis to make their day even more special.

- Mariachi "Cantares de Mi Tierra" and Mariachi Rosas - A talented youth mariachi group from the Luther Burbank Center, captivating audiences with their passion for traditional Mexican music.

- Studio Dance Laureles - A creative group of young dancers who blend modern rhythms with contemporary styles, delivering exciting and energetic performances

Community Engagement:
The Santa Rosa Police Department and the Sonoma County Sheriff's Office will play an important role in this year by engaging with families and strengthening their connection with the community. Officers will be present to interact with children, answer questions, and showcase their commitment to public safety.
Families will have the opportunity to meet local law enforcement officers in a friendly and welcoming environment, fostering trust, communication, and positive relationships between officials and the community. Officers will also provide valuable safety information and allow children to explore some of their specialized equipment, creating an educational and inspiring experience for young attendees.
Their participation underscores the festival's mission of community engagement, education, and cultural celebration, making this a special day for families to connect with those who serve and protect them.
In addition to a day full of entertainment, cultural performances, and family-friendly activities, Festival Día del Niño "Explore and Learn" will welcome distinguished guest speakers who will share messages of inspiration, leadership, and community empowerment.
